Xiaomi has announced the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM for its latest flagship device, the Poco F1. The company is currently rolling out the beta update to the Poco F1 users, which comes loaded with some bug fixes and improvements.
The Global Beta ROM comes with version 8.9.13 and it is about 2.5GB in size. The company has also listed a changelog that includes some major fixes. To start with, there is a fix for some application that was not showing in the notification panel. Further, the update also brings a fix of “OK Google” not working. Apart from this, the new beta update also fixes the issue of low and distorted Headphone output sound while playing PUBG Mobile.
Users can also download the ROM from the company’s official thread and the flash the new update. However, it is important to note that the update is currently in beta testing, which means that there might some glitches and bugs in the new update. Further, one should create a backup of the phone before flashing the Global Beta ROM on their Poco F1.
Previously, Xiaomi announced that its Poco F1 comes with Quick Charge 4.0 support and it is P2i splash resistance. The P2i resistance means that the device comes with liquid-repellent technology that will protect the smartphone with accidental water splashed or spills, though it cannot be immersed in the water. While these are significant updates to the Poco F1, neither Xiaomi or Poco has said a word about the screen-bleeding issue on some of their Poco F1 units.
