Xiaomi Mi 5 has been in the news for quite a while and now a Chinese website, MyDrivers, has claimed that the phone will come in two versions. As per the report, one of the variants of Mi 5 will come with a 2.5D curved glass at the front, 3D glass on the back and a metal frame. This version’s display is said to have full HD resolution.
The other model will be a more premium one, with all metal design and QHD display resolution (1440x2560pixels), the website claimed. The screen size for both the versions is said to be same. The glass variant is expected to come with 3GB of RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage whereas the premium variant to come with 4GB of RAM with 64GB memory.
Mi5 is expected to come next month. As per earlier speculations, it might have a 5.2-inch display, a 3000 mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor and a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature.
The Mi 5 is rumored to have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Earlier reports also claimed that the phone could be priced at 1,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,300) for the 3GB version and 2,299 Yuan (approximately Rs 23,400) for 4GB version of the phone in China.
