Xiaomi has today announced the launch of its latest Mi Purifier 2S and Mi Home Security Camera 360-degree in India. The Mi Purifier 2S and Mi Home Security camera are priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 2,699 respectively.
The Mi Purifier 2S will be available for sale from September 28, 2018, starting from 12:00 PM at Mi.com and Amazon India. The Mi Home Security Camera 360-degree will be available for purchase on October 11, 2018, from company’s official website, Amazon and Flipkart. Both the products will be available soon on Mi Home and offline partners.
Starting with Mi Purifier 2s, the latest air purifier from Xiaomi comes loaded with an OLED digital display coupled with smart home integration. The company says that the OLED display shows real-time air quality, temperature, humidity and WiFi connection. It also automatically adjusts the brightness according to the ambient light and dims when the lights out.
The new purifier comes loaded with a precision laser sensor and a 360-degree triple-layer filter, which removes PM2.5 and other micron-sized particles like harmful bacteria and formaldehyde effectively. The device comes with a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 310 cubic metres/hour and it has a cleaning range of 226 – 398 sq.ft. One can control the Mi Air Purifier 2s from Mi Home application. Interestingly, the device comes integrated with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, meaning that one can ask the assistants to switch on or off the purifier.
Moving on to Mi Home Security Camera 360-degree, as the name suggests it comes with 360-degree movements. The camera can move up, down, left and right smoothly and records 10 secs video automatically when it detects any movements or changes with is AI motion detection. The device comes with infrared night vision and it houses 10 infrared illuminators to keep the image quality clear when it is dark. The camera can record up to 1080p HD recording. The device supports up to 64GB of expandable storage and it can be controlled via Mi Home application. It also features talkback features as well.
