Xiaomi has today announced the launch of its latest tablet, the Mi Pad 4, in China. The tablet comes in two options: WiFi and 4G LTE. The device will be available in Black and Gold colour options and it will go on sale in China from June 27.
The WiFi model comes with a price tag of 1099 Yuan (approx. Rs 11,5000 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option, 1399 Yuan (approx. Rs 14,700) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. The 4G LTE version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option is priced at 1499 Yuan (approx. Rs 15,700).
The latest tablet comes with a metal unibody and it features an 8-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels along with 16:10 aspect ratio and 1200:1 contrast ratio. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.
The device is available in two versions, WiFi and LTE, with former sporting 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage, while the latter comes loaded with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the Mi Pad 4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, OV13855 sensor and LED flash. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Mi Pad 4 is backed by an impressive 6,000mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, which is based on company’s custom MIUI. On the connectivity front, the tablet features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11.ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C. The device measures 200.2 x 120.3 x 7.9mm and weighs 242.5 grams.
