Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 expected to launch on September 24, key details leaked

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will feature the world's first 108MP sensor manufactured by Samsung.

Xiaomi is expected to launch its next MIUI 11 software on September 24 in Shanghai, China. Alongside MIUI 11, the company is also likely to announce Mi Mix 4 and Mi 9s smartphones. Now some key details for the Mi Mix 4 smartphone have surfaced online.

As per a report of Xiaomishka, Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will feature the world’s first 108MP sensor manufactured by Samsung. This will be the first Xiaomi product with Samsung’s new optical sensor. Xiaomi is currently working on using the new 108MP camera tech on four upcoming smartphones, out of which Mi Mix 4 is said to be one device. Samsung recently announced the world’s first 108MP smartphone camera sensor – Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX in partnership with Xiaomi.

Further, the report reveals that in addition to the 108-megapixel camera, the phone will likely sport a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 12-megapixel periscope camera, probably capable of 5x optical zoom. The phone will come in and versions. It will be powered by Snapdragon 855+ processor coupled with upto 12GB RAM. The phone will feature reverse wireless charging and will run MIUI 11 based on 10.

Earlier specifications of the Mi Mix 4 leaked online as per which it will feature 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. It is said to carry support for UFS 3.0 storage. The phone will be backed up by a 4,500 battery that might support 30W fast charge. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will also have a wireless charging technology, along with wired charging option as well.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will feature a curved screen that will carry support for resolution. The phone will be powered by 2.96GHz octa-core Snapdragon 855+ processor. The latest MIUI 11 will come preloaded on the device. For the camera department, the phone will feature a quad-camera setup with a combination of 108-megapixel main lens, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 12-megapixel lens and a periscope lens.
