Xiaomi Mi Mix has received a lot of praise from the industry for its edge-to-edge design and solid ceramic build. It seems that soon we might see Mi Mix successor as a new 360-degree render has been leaked online depicting from important features of the upcoming device.
The renders were leaked on Weibo and show that the device will indeed follow the same bezel-less design with a near screen ratio of 100 per cent. The prototype design also showcases that the device might sport a dual-camera setup at the back along with a fingerprint sensor. At the right, there might be a volume controls and power on/off switch. Interestingly, the renders also show that the device will have a thinner border at the bottom as compared to its predecessor.
Coming to the design part, the smartphone looks similar to the original Mi Mix, meaning that it will come loaded with the ceramic back panel but will have a higher screen-to-body ratio of 93 percent, up from 91 percent in Mi Mix. Similar to its predecessor, the Mi Mix 2 will boast acoustic earphone technology, which basically eliminates the need for an earpiece. As per the screen size is concerned, the device might feature a 5.7-inch display as opposed to a huge 6.4-inch screen used in Mi Mix.
