Finally after several leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally unveiled its first phablet Mi Max and also the all new MIUI 8 based on operating system. The Mi Max will be the first smartphone to run on latest MIUI 8 out-of-the-box. Xioami Mi Max comes in 3 variants, the 3GB with 32GB internal storage and Snapdragon 650 variant priced at 1499 yuan (approximately Rs 15,335), 3GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and Snapdragon 652 SoC variant priced at 1699 yuan (approximately Rs 17,375) and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and Snapdragon 652 SoC variant is priced at 1999 yuan (approximately Rs 20,445). Color options available for the Xiaomi Mi Max are gold, silver and light grey colors. The device will be available for sale starting from May 17th in China.

Xiaomi Mi Max has a full metal unibody design and features 6.44-inch Full (1920×1080) IPS display. It is powered by Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor and Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. All the variants have expandable memory via card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system backed up by a 4850mAh battery. It also features a fingerprint scanner which is located at the rear panel.

The smartphone flaunts a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone flash and 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens. Beside, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, LTE with VoLTE, 4.1, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB 2.0 port, AGPS and GLONASS. The handset measures 173.1 x 88.3 x 7.5 mm and weighs 203 grams.
