Earlier this month, we have reported that Xiaomi is all set to launch the next-generation fitness Band soon, dubbed as Mi Band 4 and its few key features were also leaked along with a rendered image of the band. Now in the latest development, a couple of real-life images of the Band 4 has been spotted on the Weibo, a Chinese micro blogging website.
The real-life images confirmed the earlier report, which hinted that the next-generation fitness band will be having a colour display, instead of Monochrome screens seen in previous Mi Bands. Further, the blogger who posted the images revealed that the size of the Xiaomi Band 4 will be similar to the previous generation bands and will support Xiao AI, the personal assistant.
Earlier render reveals that the company will remove the physical capacitive button this time, which means that the Xiaomi Band 4 would have touchscreen support. As per previous leaks, the next generation fitness band will support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The band is also said to feature a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor which let you detect the blood volume in the microvascular bed of tissues. The battery capacity of Xiaomi Band 4 is said to have increased from 110mAh to 135mAh and there will be no need to pull apart the band module when charging, instead, it can be directly placed in the charger. Further, the company might launch another variant that will support NFC for mobile payments, which will exclusive for the Chinese market.
