The Xiaomi Mi A2 which was recently spotted on a Benchmarking website TENAA, a Chinese benchmarking website has now again surfaced online revealing its expected specifications. The smartphone will likely be launched as Xiaomi Mi 6X in China and while globally (including India), it will be launched as Mi A2.
A snapshot has leaked online by a website bestunderr.com, which shows alleged specifications and features of the Xiaomi Mi A2 aka Mi 6X. As per the leak, the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will be featuring a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 2160×1080 pixels resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB internal storage which will be expandable via a microSD card.
For the camera department, the Xiaomi Mi A2 will be featuring a dual rear camera setup with 20-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. For the front, there will be a 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI out-of-the-box and will be backed by a 2,910mAh battery. The phone will be 7.3mm thick and 165mm tall as per the leaked spec sheet.
As per the earlier TENAA listing, the phone has a 5.99-inch display and a 2910 mAh battery. The device is of 158.88×75.54×7.3mm dimension and in the listing, a red colour model was listed.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 will be the successor of the Mi A1 which was launched in Indian in September last year. The Mi A1 sports a metallic unibody and features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is just 7mm thin and weighs 168 grams. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with dual graphite sheet, which decreases the temperature by 2-degree. On the audio front, it features 10V smart PA for high-quality audio.
On the battery front, it supports 3080mAh battery with USB Type-C port and the company says it has customized a 380V charger for India for power spikes. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back panel and an IR blaster on the top of the device. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB Type-C port and Dual-SIM support.
