Just a couple of days back, we saw some images of Xiaomi Mi 5c being leaked. Now an alleged specification sheet of Xiaomi Mi 5c has also leaked online in China. Xiaomi Mi 5C is expected to be announced at an event in Beijing on November 30, however, Xiaomi is yet to make any official statement regarding this.
As per the spec sheet, which was published on MyDrivers, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will feature a 5.5-inch display with narrow bezels to be powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor. As per the website, the Mi 5c will come with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will flaunt a 12-megapixel primary camera. On its front, it will have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The phone will run on Android Nougat 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with MIUI 8 on top. The device is also shown supporting NFC in the specs sheet.
Recent leaks have also shown the price of Mi 5c. The smartphone is expected to be priced at 999 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 9,926. As per earlier rumours, the Xiaomi Mi 5C will be powered by Xiaomi’s in-house Pine Cone processor. The processor will be developed by Xiaomi-owned Pine Cone Electronics. The Chipset will compete with the likes of Kirin chip, made by Huawei-owned HiSilicon and even Samsung’s Exynos chipset.
The smartphone was earlier spotted on AnTuTu and Geekbench Benchmarking websites as Xioami Meri which is its codename. The Geekbench listing revealed that Xiaomi Meri might come with 3GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with an unknown chipset. The phone scored 758 on the single-core test and 3105 on the multi-core test on Geekbench listing.
The AnTuTu listing revealed the screen size of Xiaomi Meri. As per the Antutu listing, the display on Xiaomi Meri might have 5.5 inches with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. Xiaomi Meri scored 63,581 on AnTuTu, which hints that the device might belong to the mid-range category of phones.
