Xiaomi’s next flagship, purpotedly called as Mi 5, may be launched this week itself. Xiaomi has actually released a teaser for an event to be held on July 16 (Thursday) and it shows a slim device which everyone is expecting to be the Mi 5.
There have been many speculation about the Xiaomi Mi 5 so far. Reportedly it will come with a 5.2 inch display with superb Quad HD or 1440×2560 pixels resolution. The handset is also said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, which has been adopted by many high end devices. Infact, the recently released LG G4 uses a bit less powerful Snapdragon 808 chipset.
Earlier a Chinese blogger said that the next flagship of Xiaomi will also have a 3000 mAh battery and a 16 megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature. The OIS feature, usually found in high end smartphones and cameras, reduces shakiness in captured images.
The smartphone is said to have 4 GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, 8 megapixel front camera, and 16 GB /64 GB built-in storage. It is likely to come with the latest Android Lollipop operating system.
