The much speculated Xiaomi Mi 5 may come in four colours, if a leaked video is to beleived. The video was posted on Chinese social media website, Weibo, showed the purported Xiaomi Mi5 in black, gold, pink, and white colours. The images further indicate that the phone could have 2.5G curved glass display and a 3D glass on the back panel.
The 27 second video shows the demo of the user interface on featuring the white colour model. The home button that is said to be equipped with a fingerprint sensor is also there, below the front display.
Specs wise, the purported Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch with 1080p or QHD resolution and will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset. The device will be powered by a quad-core Processor along with the Adreno 530 GPU. The handset is said to come in two RAM and storage versions – 3GB of RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage.
Xiaomi Mi 5 is rumored to have 16-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. It will have a 3600mAh battery and will run MIUI 7 based on Android 6 Marshmallow.
The phone could be priced at 1,999 Yuan (approx Rs.20,300) for the 3GB version and 2,299 Yuan (approx Rs.23,400) for 4GB version of the phone in China. Some reports also suggest that the launch for the phone is expected to be in April 2016.
