Xiaomi, which is celebrating its first anniversary in India, has announced the launch of the 32 GB version of Mi 4i in India for Rs 14,999. The 16 GB version of the phone is retailing for Rs 12,999.
It comes with Snapdragon 615 (2nd Gen) octa core Processor and the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It has the latest MIUI interface which now supports six Indian languages – Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam.
The Xioami Mi 4i has two SIM card slots both of which support 4G network. The Mi 4i has a 13 megapixel rear camera with 5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, and has support of two-tone flash light. In its front, there is a 5 megapixel camera with f/1.8 Aperture and 80 degree wide angle. The Xiaomi Mi4i has a 5 inch display with full HD Resolution and it has an unibody design.
It has a 3120 mAh battery which, according to Xiaomi, offers 1.5 days of usage time. Xiaomi Mi4i feel light in your hand. It weighs 130gm and is quite slim at 7.8mm for a phone with 5 inch display. It has a non-removable polycarbonate rear cover which has a soft touch matte finish. It has smooth rounded corners and edges. At the time of launch Xiaomi had claimed that one can erase off permanent marker marks off the cover and while we were reviewing the device we did check out this feature and it indeed was true.
On the right side panel, there is volume rocker and the power/standby button which are made of metal and are sturdy and easy to access. On the left side there is a dual SIM tray.
