Chinese smartphone marker, Xiaomi will release the Windows 10 software for its Mi 4 smartphone in China this Thursday. Xiaomi’s founder and president Lin Bin revealed this by posting a teaser on Weibo (see above image).
This announcement came nine months after Xiaomi joined hands with Microsoft to test the Windows 10 on its phones. Initially, only few Mi 4 users in China will be able to get the Windows 10 OS. It is to be note that Xiaomi’s newly launched Mi Pad 2 too comes in the Windows 10 version.
Currently, the Xiaomi Mi 4 is selling in India for Rs 14,999 for the 16 GB model and Rs 17,999 for the 64 GB model. Neither of them offer expandable storage slot. The Mi 4 offers 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core processor, 3 GB RAM, 3080 mAh battery, 5 inch full HD display, 13 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera.
