Last week, Xiaomi was supposed to reveal the Mi 5, its next flagship, as well as the purported Redmi Note 2 Pro but it did not. Today, a new Xiaomi phone was found in the listing of Geekbench – a smartphone Benchmarking site. The handset has been listed in the Geekbench as Xiaomi Gemini, which now everyone believes to be the Mi 5.
As per the listing the Xiaomi Gemini has the powerful Snapdragon 820 which has just been launched. The handset is based on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow version and has 3 GB RAM.
As per earlier rumours, the Mi 5 is expected to come with a 5.2 inch display with Quad HD or 1440×2560 pixels resolution, a 3000 mAh battery and a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature, fingerprint scanner, 8 megapixel front camera, and 16 GB /64 GB built-in storage.
Meanwhile, two other devices of Xiaomi – Mi Pad 2 and Redmi Note 2 Pro, have also been spotted.
Mi Pad 2 was found listed on Geekbench with Android 5.1 operating system, 2.24 GHz Intel Atom quad core Processor and 2 GB RAM.
On the other hand, the much speculated Redmi Note 2 Pro was found listed on the website of Chinese certification and regulatory authority TENAA. As per the listing, it has the Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset, 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, a 3060 mAh battery, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
