Xiaomi today confirmed the launch of Redmi Note 3 in India. On its website, it is now running a teaser seeking “100 explorers for Redmi Note 3”. What is the purpose of the teaser is not known right now but the teaser has put an end to speculations about Redmi Note 3’s launch in India for sure.
In the teaser, Xiaomi says, “Be part of Mi Generation by Jan 31st”. This means that the Note 3 could be launched in India on January 31.
The Redmi Note 3 has already been launched in China and is priced at RMB 899 or Rs 9,339 approximately for 2 GB RAM version while its 3 GB RAM model has a price tag of RMB 1099 or approximately Rs 11,417.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a full metal body and is powered by the Helio X10 octa core processor. The smartphone has a huge 4000 mAh battery and offers fingerprint sensor as well. The handset has a 13 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It is available in silver, dark grey and gold colours. Despite having a huge battery, the phone is just 8.65 mm thick and weighs 164 grams.
The phone has a 5.5 inch full HD display, dual SIM with 4G connectivity, MIUI 7 and WiFi (ac). The 2 GB model has 16 GB of internal storage while the 3 GB model offers 32 GB of internal memory.
