Weeks after launching the RedmiBook 14 with Intel Core i3 processor in China, Xiaomi has announced the Mi Gaming Laptop (2019), it’s second gaming-centric notebook which will be available for a starting price of 7499 yuan (approx. Rs 75,700).
The Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 features a 15.6-inch FHD anti-glare display with a Refresh Rate of 144Hz, 300 nits brightness and a 178-degree viewing angle. The gaming laptop comes with a 1.8mm High Key Professional Backlit Keyboard which can display 16 million colours across four zones.
The laptop can be configured with either a 9th Gen Intel Core i5-9300H or a 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H processor with 8GB/16GB RAM options, 512GB of PCIe SSD storage and an option to choose from either the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti on the base or the NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 2060 on the top model.
Xiaomi’s latest gaming machine comes with a 55Wh battery which can last for up to 6.5 hours when browsing the web or 5.5 hours on video playback. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home and offers a glass trackpad with gesture controls.
For connectivity, the MI Gaming laptop is equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, four USB ports, one HDMI, an Ethernet port, a microphone port, Headphone jack and a 3-in-1 card reader. The laptop weighs in at 2.6 kilograms and measures 364 x 265.2 x 20.9 mm. It comes with dual 3-watt speakers with Dolby Audio and Sony Hi-res audio support as well as a 1MP HD webcam for video calling purposes.
The Xiaomi Mi Gaming laptop (2019) will be available in Space Gray and Deep Space Gray colours for a starting price of 7499 yuan (approx. Rs 75,700) for the base model with Intel Core i5 CPU and Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti GPU. The Core i7/GTX 1660 Ti and Core i7/RTX 2060 models will be available for prices of 8599 yuan (approx. Rs 86,800) and 8999 yuan (approx. Rs 90,800) respectively.
