Kitchen appliance maker Wonderchef has launched the Nutri-Pot automatic cooker with the integration of Amazon Alexa. The kitchen appliance is India’s first AI-based device which will use Alexa to help users make food through recipes crafted by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. The Wonderchef Nutri-pot automatic cooker will be available for an asking price of Rs 6,999 in India.
The Nutri-Pot can be paired with customised apps to take the customers through a multitude of recipes. The App is integrated with Amazon Alexa which users can activate to get themselves guided to make tasty recipes crafted by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Wonderchef has enabled the app on smartphones to have a seamless experience with Alexa.
The Nutri-pot comes with seven modes including Pressure Cooker, Steamer, Yogurt Maker, Saute, Rice Cooker, Warmer and Slow Cooker – and Automatic. It has 18 preset functions for Rice/Pulav, Khichdi/Biryani, Chicken Curry, Mutton Curry, Dal, Rajma/Chole, Veg Curry, Soup, Yogurt, Cake, Sambhar, Baby Food, Steamer, Slow Cooker, Saute/Bhuna, Manual and Reheat.
The appliance comes with a 24-hour delay timer which allows users to program when to begin cooking. It has a Hard-anodized inner pot which offers faster cooking and an even heat distribution. The embedded microprocessor monitors pressure, temperature, time and adjusts heating intensity and pressure level.
