Following on the lines of Google+ Microsoft has now also enabled Windows Phone 8 users to access full Resolution videos and picture uploads using their devices. With this users will no longer have to reduce the size of the videos or images that they capture on their devices in order to save them on the SkyDrive cloud storage. Although this feature was earlier available in a number of countries it has now been made available to all the countries where Windows Phone devices are available. The feature, if not available right away, will be made available in the following days.
But the feature has not just been made available by Microsoft, as there have been a few customizations to improve the experience. For instance, in order to save data usage on cellular networks the best quality uploads only work over WiFi connections. Other options are also available for users but the best quality upload will only be limited to WiFi access.
To start using the new feature users can access the Photos application on their Windows Phone 8 device and navigate to More, followed by Settings, and from there they can choose SkyDrive and enable the instant upload feature.
