Motorola today took the curtains off its 3rd Generation Moto G smartphone in an event organised in Delhi. However, it did not announce anything about the Moto X 3rd Generation which too was expected to be launched alongside the Moto G 3rd Gen.
The new Motorola Moto G (3rd Generation) comes in two variants – one comes with 8 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM and is priced at Rs 11,999 while the other has 16 GB internal storage, 2 GB RAM and is priced at Rs 12,999. The Moto G (3rd Gen) will be available exclusively from Flipkart.
The handset offers a 5 inch touchscreen with high definition Resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. The smartphone is water resistant (IPX7 rated) and is thus immune to splashes and accidental drops in the water but is not water proof.
The Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) has the quad core Snapdragon 410 processor, 13 Megapixel rear camera with flash light, 5 megapixel front camera, 32 GB micro SD card slot, and dual SIM with 4G. It has a 2470 mAh battery that claims to last a whole day. The Moto G 3rd Gen comes armed with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
Motorola has also announced special offers on the Moto G (3rd Generation), valid till August 2, under which buyers will get copouns including 33 per cent off on total bill on Myntra, Flipkart fashipn e-gift voucher of Rs 500 with a minimum purchase of Rs 1000, 100 per cent cashback for lucky 100 customers, 100 lucky customers will get Moto 360 watch for just Rs 1, double data offer for six months from Airtel in 4G circles while two months in non-4G circles, free Wynk Plus subscription for six months in 4G circles of Airtel while in non-4G circles it is for two months.
