Vodafone to offer 50 percent discount on Amazon Prime subscription to its prepaid users

The offer is named as Amazon Prime for Youth and it is valid for prepaid customers only.

Vodafone India has announced that it will soon launch a new offer under which it will offer a 50 percent discount on Amazon Prime membership. The offer is named as Amazon Prime for Youth and it is valid for prepaid customers only. Strangely, Vodafone is promoting the offer with all the details on their website and without giving any specific date of commencement of the service. It just displaysa message,” coming soon.”

As the name suggest, the offer is meant for the youth. The company has revealed that prepaid subscribers aged between 18 and 24 will be eligible for this offer. With this, the prepaid users with the above-mentioned age range can opt for Amazon Prime subscription for just Rs 499. Amazon offer Prime subscription at an annual cost of Rs 999.

However, it is important to note that the offer is only meant for prepaid customers and not for postpaid customers. This is primarily because Vodafone offers free Amazon Prime subscription with its RED postpaid plans. Furthermore, if a prepaid users already has a Amazon Prime subscription, then the offer is actually of no use as of now.

In order to activate this offer, as and when it is made live, customers will need to go My Vodafone app and click on the banner depicting the offer. Once the on-screen instructions are complete, one can buy the annual subscription for half of the price.

Previously, Vodafone started offering free Zomato Gold subscription on select RED postpaid plans in India. Vodafone RED postpaid plan users, who have postpaid plan priced above Rs 499, will come with free Zomato Gold membership. It is important to note that the free subscription is valid for six months. For the unintended, Zomato Gold membership is a premium service offered by Zomato.
