Vodafone has announced a new prepaid pack of Rs 99 to compete with other telecom companies like Reliance Jio and Airtel. The Vodafone new pack is a voice only plan which is meant especially for the need of heavy calling.
Telecom Talk reports, Vodafone Rs 99 plan comes with a validity of 28 days and is only valid for Vodafone customers in 4G circles. It offers unlimited local, STD and Roaming voice calls. However, the voice calls come with a capping of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. The plan does not come with any data or SMS benefits.
Th Vodafone plan competes with Reliance Jio Rs 98 plan which also has a validity of 28 days. It offers unlimited voice calling without any FUP, 1GB data per day and 300 SMSes. Additionally, there is free access to the company’s suite of apps like JioTV, JioCinema and more.
There is an Airtel plan also of Rs 99 which offers unlimited voice local and STD calls without any FUP, 2GB data, and 100 SMS per day. However, unlike Vodafone and Jio, this Airtel pack comes only for a validity of 10 days.
Meanwhile, in a related news, Vodafone recently announced Rs 47 prepaid pack with a validity of 28 days. It offers 125 minutes of local/STD/national roaming voice calling and 500MB of 2G/3G/4G data. It also offers 50 SMSes for the entire duration of the plan.
