The telecom operator Vodafone recently launched Rs 279 prepaid plan with 84 days validity. Now the telco has now rolled out another more affordable prepaid plan of Rs 189 for its customers. The new plan from Vodafone comes with a long-term validity of 56 days. This is the cheapest prepaid plan with 56 days validity.
TelecomTalk reports, that under Rs 189 plan, the operator is offering unlimited voice calling benefit but with a daily FUP limit. The users are allowed to makes calls of up to 250 minutes daily and 1000 minutes per week. After exhausting the daily limit, the users will be charged at 1 paisa per second. The plan also offers 2GB of 3G/4G data for the entire validity period. Sadly the plan does not offer any Messaging benefit under Rs 189 plan.
This Vodafone plan can be availed via Balance Deduction Mode only. Usually, Vodafone offers other prepaid plans via recharge and easy Top-Ups. The recently launched Rs 279 plan also can be availed via Balance Deduction Mode.
This Vodafone prepaid plan will take on Reliance Jio’s Rs 198 plan which comes with a validity of 28 days only. The Jio prepaid plan offers its customers unlimited local, STD and Roaming voice calling, a total of 56GB data with a daily limit of 2GB per day and 100 SMS per day. So, for long-term benefits, the Vodafone plan is a better plan to choose from. But in terms of data, Reliance Jio has a better recharge plan offering 2GB per day.
Earlier, Vodafone launched Rs 279 prepaid tariff plan for its 4G users with a validity of 84 days. This plan offers unlimited voice calling to up to 1000 minutes per week and 250 minutes per day. Further, the plan also provides users with 4GB of 4G/3G mobile data.
