Vodafone is offering free 4G data to its new customers in select states

Customers who will upgrade to Vodafone networks will get 4GB of free data.

Vodafone is now offering free data to its new 4G customers in Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles. Customers who will upgrade to Vodafone networks will get 4GB of free data.

The offer is valid for customers opting for a 4G card in the said circles. The 4G data comes with a validity of 10 days. In order to get the free data, users will have to go to Vodafone retail stores and buy a new 4G SIM card. Upon the activation, customers will get the 4GB of 4G data. One can check for the free data by going to My Vodafone application.

The free data is given on the occasion of upgrading of Vodafone’s network to 4G in the said circles. Starting with Bihar and Jharkhand, the 4G network will be available across 2,471 towns and cities including Muzaffarpur, Dhanbad, Patna, Ranchi, Bhagalpur, Bokaro, Darbhanga, Begusarai and more. As for the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles are concerned, around 4565 towns will get 4G connectivity including Bhopal, Raipur, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Bhilai-Durg, Bilaspur, Indore, Ujjain, Rewa and more.

Meanwhile, Vodafone has introduced a new Rs 154 prepaid plan for its customer base. The plan comes with a validity of 180 days. The plan only comes with 600 minutes of local on-net voice calling which can only be made during the night. This means users of the Rs 154 plan voucher will be limited to making free calls to another Vodafone inside the same circle when the call is being made between 12 AM and 6 AM.

Apart from the calls made between the said time, users will have to pay 2.5 paise per second for both local and national calls and 4 paisa per 10 for data consumption, while on one has to pay 10 paise per 10KB. Users will have to pay Re 1 for local and Rs 1.5 for national SMS.
