Vodafone Germany launches a new tablet

What is unusual is the carrier has given its own name to the tablet, though in India we have a precedent with Reliance which has already launched a tablet with its own name.

Vodafone has reportedly launched a new tablet in Germany, named Smart Tab. The tablet will come in two versions &#151 7 inch and 10 inch. However, pricing details are not available now but is expected to be revealed closer to the launch of the tablet.

Both versions of the Vodafone Smart Tab have similar specifications including 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon and the 3.2 Honeycomb operating system.

The tablets will have 1 RAM and 16 GB onboard memory. Besides, these tablets will come with a 5 camera on their back and 2 megapixel front facing camera. The display will be of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Earlier, Vodafone had introduced its Webbox in the UK first and later brought it to India. By the same logic, we expect these tablets to come to India soon.
