Vivo has announced the launch a new smartphone under its Z-series with the launch of Z5x in China. The smartphone will be available in Midnight Black, Phantom Black and Aurora Blue colour options.
The smartphone comes with a price tag of 1398 Yuan (approx. Rs 15,000) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option, 1498 Yuan (approx. Rs 16,000) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, 1698 Yuan (approx. Rs 18,000) for 6GB RAM + 128GB storge and 1998 Yuan for 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.
Jumping straight to the specifications, the Vivo Z5x is equipped with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. The phone is backed by up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
For optics, there is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.78 aperture, 8-megapixel Wide-Angle lens with f/2.2 Aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone supports face unlock and fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery and the company has bundled an 18W fast charger with it as well. On the connectivity front, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, micro USB and Dual-SIM support. On the connectivity front, 162.39 x 77.33 x 8.85 mm and weighs 204 grams.
