Recently Vivo Z5 smartphone has been confirmed to be launched on 31 July in China. Now ahead of the launch, some key specs of the phone have been revealed by the company.
Earlier this week, Vivo released the official renders of the phone to reveal its design. Now the company has released some posters on Weibo to reveal specs of the phone. As per the posters, the Vivo Z5 will feature a Super AMOLED display. The image seems to be showing that the phone’s display will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone will feature a triple camera setup with 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera. The Vivo phone will be fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 Processor and it will come with the company’s Multi-Turbo technology. The official posters reveal that the Vivo Z5 will be equipped with a 4,500mh battery that carries support for 22.5W fast charging. The phone will come with a USB-C port for fast charging.
Even before the company revelled the spec we had already scooped thatVivo Z5 features a 6.36-inch full HD+ AMOLED display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The phone will be powered by a 2.3 GHz octa-core processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage. It will feature a triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. For the front, it will have a front-facing camera of the 32MP sensor.
Vivo Z5 runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Funtouch UI layer over it. The device measurements are 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm and it weighs 189.6 grams.
Meanwhile, a retail box and some live images of Vivo Z5 have also surfaced online on Weibo. The images show that the phone will come with a waterdrop-style notch display which houses a selfie camera with a tall aspect ratio.
The rear of the phone shows a triple camera setup and an LED flash at its top-left corner, however, there is no fingerprint scanner at the back. The smartphone will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
