Vivo has introduced a new budget-centric smartphone in China. Dubbed as Vivo Y93, the smartphone comes with a price tag of 1,500 Yuan (approx. Rs 15,900) and it will be available for purchase from company’s store in Starry Night and Red colour options in the country.
The new Vivo Y93 is equipped with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a screen Resolution of 1580 x 720 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:9. There is a waterdrop notch on the top, which is similar to other Vivo smartphones.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core Processor clocked at 1.95GHz. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
For optics, Vivo Y93 is equipped with a dual-camera setup that comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter with LED flash. For the front, the company has added an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s custom FunTouch OS running top of it.
It is backed by a 4,030mAh battery and features a face unlock feature but there is no fingerprint sensor. On the connectivity front, it is equipped with 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-SIM, Headphone jack and microUSB port. The phone measures 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm.
