Vivo has reportedly slashed the price of Vivo Y71 4GB variant by Rs 1,000. The smartphone was launched at Rs 12,990 and now after the price cut, it is available for Rs 10,990.
The price cut was announced by a Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom on Twitter. His tweet reads “#VivoY71 (4GBRAM) #PriceDrop now for Rs.11990/- only”.

Vivo also sells the 3GB variant of the phone which was launched for Rs 10,990. Though, the retailer has not announced any price cut on this variant.
It noteworthy here that at the time of writing the story, Vivo Y71 4GB is retailing at its original price of Rs 12,990 on Amazon India.
The Vivo Y71 features a 5.99-inch HD+ (720 x 1440 pix) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, it is backed by a 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and packs a 3360mAh battery.
After the price cut, the Vivo Y71 competes with the other popular smartphones like Honor 9N, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and RealMe 1. All these phones offer better display and Processor than Vivo Y71 at the budget price point. As far as the camera is concerned, Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Honor 9N come with dual rear cameras as compared to a single rear camera in Vivo Y71.
