Vivo Y66 gets a price cut of Rs 1,000

Good News! Vivo has reduced the price of Vivo Y66 smartphone, as per a Mumbai-based mobile phone retailer. Mahesh Khatri from Mahesh Telecom today tweeted that, Vivo has reduced the price of Vivo Y66 by Rs 1,000 and now will be available at Rs 13,990. The Vivo Y66 was launched in March this year in India at Rs 14,999.

As far as specifications are concerned, Vivo Y66 has a metal unibody design and features a 5.5-inch (720×1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone comes armed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core processor (4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53), along with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone phone comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The Y66 runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under Funtouch OS 3.0 and is backed up by a 3000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

On the camera front, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with with soft flash for selfies and video chats. Besides, the smartphone offer Hybrid Dual SIM, VoLTE, 4.1, a microUSB port, Wifi (802.11 b/g/n), hotspot, GPS, Accelerometer, Gyro sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, split-screen feature for multitasking and a unique eye protection mode. The handset measure 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.6 mm and weighs 155 grams.
