Vivo has today launched its latest Y-series phone – Vivo Y5s in China. The smartphone is priced at 1,498 Yuan which is approx. Rs 15,200. It comes in gradient colors of Blue and Green and Black color.
Vivo Y5s features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a Resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, up to 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, 394ppi Pixel density and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by an 2.0GHz Octa-core Mediatek’s Helio P65 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expandable via microSD card.
For the camera, the phone features AI triple camera setup with a combination of a 16-megapixel main lens with f/1.78 Aperture and PDAF, 8-megapixel superwide lens with f/2.2 aperture 120-degree and a 2-megapxiel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the Vivo Y5s has an AI 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The phone comes packed with a 5000mAh non-removable battery with 18W dual-engine Fast charging through microUSB and it runs on Android 9.0 based on Funtouch OS 9.2. Connectivity features include VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and Micro USB port 2.0. The phone measures 162.15 x 76.47 x 8.89mm and weighs 193 grams. The rear side of the Vivo Y5s features a fingerprint reader. It also has face unlock feature.
