A new Vivo smartphone named ‘Vivo Y55S’ has been found listed for purchase on one of the Indian online retailer website for Rs 12,980. As of now there is no official announcement made from the company, however, we expect Vivo to make the device official soon.
Jumping straight to specifications, the Vivo Y55S features a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is fueled by a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 64-bit processor, paired with Adreno 505 graphics processor. Coming in at Gold colour option, the smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 256GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, the Vivo Y55S offers 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The camera features include f/2.0 Aperture, Auto Focus, Contious Focus, Digital Zoom, Geo tagging, Panorama, HDR, Touch Focus, Face Detection, White Balance, ISO Setting, Exposure Compensation, Self Timer, Scene Mode, and Screen Flash.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is wrapped under Funtouch OS 3.0. The Y55S smartphone gets its strenght from a 2730 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery, which claims to deliver talk time of up to 11 hours and standby time of up to 250 hours. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi-802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, a microUSB port, Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, and Geomagnetic Sensor. The handset measures 147.9 x 72.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 142 grams.
