Yesterday, we have reported that Vivo launched its new smartphone, Vivo Y53, in Malaysia. The device is priced at RM 699 (approximately Rs 10,495) and was expected to be launchin India soon. However, based on our findings, we can now confirm that the smartphone will be launched in India pretty soon as we are able to spot the device listed on Vivo’s official India website. The listing reveals a detailed set of specifications of the device along with two colour options namely – Crown Gold and Space Gray.
As far as specifications are concerned, Vivo Y53 features a 5-inch qHD display with a Resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is wrapped under Funtouch OS 3.0.
Vivo Y53 gets its strength from a 2500mAh battery. On the camera front, the smartphone offers an 8-megapixel rear camera with f2.0 Aperture, LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 Aperture for selfies and video chats. The rear camera features include Normal, Face Beauty, Panorama, HDR, Night, PPT, Pro, Videos, Camera Filter, Voice Capture, Touch Capture, Palm Capture, and Timer. The smartphone also comes with Smart Screen Flash which automatically switches on, in low-light conditions so your face looks brighter in selfies.
Besides, the smartphone offers Triple card slot (Dual Nano 4G SIMs + 1 microSD Card), 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Bluetooth 4.2, a microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor and E-compass. The smartphone also comes with various pre-loaded apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Maps, YouTube, Play Store, Gmail, Chrome, Play Music, Play Movies, Photos, Google, Drive, Voice Search, Google Duo, vivoCloud, and WPS. The handset measures 144.2 × 71.4 × 7.64mm and weighs 137 grams.
