Vivo has quietly launched a new Y-series phone named as Vivo Y3. The phone is now listed on the JD.com in China for 1,498 (roughly Rs 15,200). It comes in Peacock Blue and Peach Pink colour options.
Vivo Y3 features a 6.35-inch waterdrop notch HD+ display with a 1544 x 720 pixels resolution, 19.3:9 aspect ratio, and 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a octa-core MediaTek P35 SoC processor. It has 4GB of RAM along with 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The phone sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear. Apart from this, the Y3 also has Face Unlock.
For the camera department, there are triple rear cameras with a combination of a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 120-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is 16-megapixel snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.
The phone is backed up by 5000mAh battery with support for dual engine Fast charging standard. The connectivity options will be Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 159.43 x 76.77 x 8.92 mm mm, and it will weigh 190.5 grams. The device runs on Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box.
