Vivo has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone in the Y-series with the launch of Vivo Y12 in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 12,490 and it is available for purchase from both offline and online platforms.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the triple-camera setup at the back panel. The primary sensor is equipped with a 13-megapixel sensor along with an 8-megapixel super Wide-Angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, the phone is equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with AI Face beauty mode.
The phone comes with different camera modes including PPT, Professional, PDAF, Palm Capture, Voice Control, Time-Lapse, Slow, Live Photos, HDR, Portrait Mode, Panorama, Portrait Bokeh (single front camera), Watermark, AI Face Beauty, Camera Filter, Super Wide-Angle Camera.
Vivo Y12 features a 6.35-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a screen resolution of 1544 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 Processor along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded with the help of a memory card.
The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which is based on FunTouch OS 9.0. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, WiFi, Dual-SIM and Micro USB port. It measures 159.43 × 76.77 × 8.92mm and weighs 190.5 grams.
