Vivo has announced the launch of X9 and X9 Plus smartphones in China yesterday. The Vivo X9 comes in two storage variants – one with 64GB ROM which is priced at 2798 yuan (approximately Rs 27,619), and other with 128GB ROM which one has to pay 2998 yuan (approximately Rs 29,604). The X9 is now up for pre-order in China. As far as X9 Plus is concerned, it also has two storage variants 64GB and 128GB. However the pricing for both the variants be revealed on December 26th. Both smartphones comes in Gold and Rose Gold colour options.
Both the smartphones flaunts a dual front camera setup of which one is of 20-megapixel resolution, which comes with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture, and the second camera comes with 8-megapixel resolution for capturing depth information. On its back, it has 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0, PDAF and a LED flash.
The Vivo X9 has a metal unibody design and features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED Display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It comes equipped with 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor, along with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is wrapped under Funtouch OS 3.0 and also houses a fingerprint scanner which is embedded on its home button. The smartphone gets its strength from a 3050mAh battery with fast charging feature. Besides, X9 offers Dual SIM 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 ac), Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. The handset measures 152.6x74x6.99mm and weighs 154 grams.
On the other hand, the Vivo X9 Plus too has a metal unibody design and features a larger 5.88-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a Octa Core (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 Snapdragon 653 processor, along with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The X9 plus comes packed with powerful 4000mAh battery with fast charging feature. Rest of the specifications are similar to the Vivo X9 smartphone.
