Vivo today launched its X5 Pro smartphone in India for Rs 27,980. The company has also announced a new series, V, under which it announced V1 and V1 Max for Rs 17980 and Rs 21,980 respectively.
The Vivo X5 Pro will be available in retail outlets from August while prebooking for the same starts midnight today. There was no announcement regarding the retail availability of the other two handsets.
The Vivo X5 Pro comes preinstalled with the latest Android Lollipop operating system and has a propriety interface- Funtouch 2.1. The Vivo X5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 615 octa core processor.
The Vivo X5 Pro offers a 5.2 inch Full HD, super Amoled display. It has 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, and 128 GB micro SD card slot. It has a 2450 mAh battery. The dual SIM X5Pro offers 4G connectivity too. It has a 13 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. However, it does not have the eye scanner as the original model which was launched in China few months back.
Vivo V1 comes with a 5-inch HD touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 2,300 mAh battery. The handset, which measures 143.3 × 71 × 6.78 mm and weighs 145 grams, comes with the 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, 128 GB micro SD card slot, and Android Lollipop operating system with the Funtouch 2.1 OS as well. This single SIM smartphone also offers 4G connectivity, FM, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Vivo V1 Max has a 5.5 inch IPS HD display, 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 615 octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 128 GB expandable storage slot, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and a 2720 mAh battery.
