Vivo has been gearing up to launch its own smartwatch but the specifications of the same have been under the wraps and Vivo has been able to keep it that way until now.
According to a tipster named Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Vivo Watch will come in two sizes which are 42mm and 46mm and will also come in 4 colours which will be Shadow, Fengshang, Mocha and Mixia and one of these variants will also have a leather strap.
The device is reportedly backed by a battery that will last you upto 18 days. According to the leaker, the 46mm variant will have a NFC chip for payments and stuff, a blood oxygen sensor, and a heart-rate monitor. The watch will also feature Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity as certified by Bluetooth SIG.
The Vivo Watch also cleared 3C certification back in June which suggested that the watch will support audio playback when connected to a phone and will have a round dial.
The watches are expected to be priced around 1,000 yuan (approx Rs 10,000). At this price point, the watch should have pretty good specifications and the performance of the watch should be top-notch.
Vivo has also been in the news lately for showing off a concept where the back panel of the phone could change colours according to what the user specifies. Vivo was able to achieve this using electrochromic glass.
