Vivo is reportedly all set to launch its new selfie focused smartphone under its V series in India this month. The smartphone is dubbed as Vivo V5 and will succeed the Vivo V3 smartphone launched in India earlier this year.
The USP of this smartphone would be its 20-megapixel selfie camera, which will be accompanied by a soft light LED flash. On its back, it will have a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF).
Further, the Vivo V5 is said to feature a 5.2 inch Full HD ((1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will be powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, which will be paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone said to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and will also house a fingerprint scanner, which will be integrated into its home button. It will certainly support 4G with VoLTE and will have all basic connectivity options.
Vivo V5 smartphone is expected to be priced between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000.
