Vivo V5 with 20MP selfie camera launched in India

On its back, it has 13MP shooter with LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF).

Vivo has finally announced the launch of Vivo V5 smartphone in India today. The Vivo V5 is priced at Rs 17,980 and comes in crown gold and space grey colour options. The smartphone will be available through retail stores across the country. The pre-order process starting from tomorrow (16th Nov) and will go on till 25th Nov. The company will begin the first sale of the Vivo V5 smartphone on 26th Nov.

The highlight of this smartphone is its 20-megapixel selfie camera, which is accompanied by a moonlight glow LED flash, Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.0 and 5p lens. On its back, it flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF).
Vivo V5 and V5 Plus
The Vivo V5 smartphone has a metal unibody design and features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution) display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes equipped with 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU. The V5 smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under Funtouch OS 2.5 and gets its juices from a 3000 battery. It also houses a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded on its home button. Company claims that V5’s fingerprint sensor can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.

Besides, the Vivo V5 smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), 4.1, GPS/GLONASS, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-Compass, split screen multitasking, and a Hi-Fi AK4376 for improved audio performance. The smartphone measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.55 mm and weighs 154 grams.

The company has also announced that the Vivo V5 Plus will be launching soon with the world’s first dual selfie camera.
