Vivo is all set to launch the V5 Plus smartphone in India on January 23, 2017, but the smartphone is already available for pre-order in Malaysia. The Malaysian retailer DirectD has listed the device on its website with a price tag of RM 1,799 (approx. Rs 27,454).
Users opting for a pre-order will also get a free mystery gift as well. The listing image further reveals the device in its full glory. This is in line with previous renders of the smartphone leaked online. The image showcased in the pre-order image resemble the one we reported earlier, with a dual front camera with Moonlight Glow flash at the front coupled with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.
As per the listing, the device comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with the screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with an expandable storage up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the device sports a dual front-facing camera with a combination of the 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensor along with Moonlight Glow flash, while there is a 16-megapixel rear camera. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be powered by a 3160 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and the device measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.6mm.
However, the device is set to be unveiled on January 20 in Malaysia, one can expect a similar specs sheet for the Indian market as well.
