Vivo V3 smartphone, which was launched in India earlier this year, has got a price cut of Rs 3000. The Vivo V3, which was initially priced at Rs 17,890, is now available at Rs 14,980. The smartphone comes in gold and rose gold colours.
At Rs 14,980, the Vivo V3 is now pitted against Honor 6, Moto X (2nd Gen), LYF Water 1, Mi Max, Asus Zenfone 2, Micromax Canvas 6, Samsung Galaxy J7 etc.
The Vivo V3 has a full metal body, HiFi music technology, AK4375 music Chipset and fingerprint scanner. As per the company, the back cover of the phone is made of aluminum magnesium while the front display has the Corning Gorilla Glass coating. The phones also have Fast charging technology with which it claims to offer 2 hours of music playback with only 5 minutes of charging.
The Vivo V3 features a 5 inch HD (720p) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 616 octa core processor, which is paired with 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is backed up by a 2550mAh battery.
On the camera front, it has 13 Megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera features include Panorama, Face Beauty, HDR, Night, PPT, Motion Track, Professional, Slow, Fast, Voice Shutter, Touch Capture, Palm, Timer, Gender Detection, Filter, and Watermark. Besides, the device offers MicroUSB port, WiFi, Bluetooth, OTG, FM Radio, Accelerometer, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, and Gyrometer. The handset measures 143.6mm×71mm×7.5mm and weighs around 138 grams.
