Vivo Nex S price leaked ahead of India launch on July 19

Vivo Nex S will come in two variants - 8GB RAM with 128GB and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The leaked price is said to be of the base variant. The smartphone will come in Ruby Red and Diamond Black colours.

Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo Nex S in India on July 19. The company has started sent the media invites for the launch event to be held on the said date. Now ahead of the launch, Vivo Nex S price has been leaked online.

As per a report of MySmartPrice, Vivo Nex S will be priced at Rs 48,900 in India and it will be available online exclusively on Amazon India. The report further says that the price was found on Amazon’s website. The smartphone will be available for pre-order starting July 19 at 1:00 PM.

Vivo Nex S will come in two variants – 8GB with 128GB and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The leaked price is said to be of the base variant. The smartphone will come in Ruby Red and Diamond Black colours. Vivo Nex S will compete with Oppo Find X which was launched yesterday for Rs 59,990.

Vivo launched NEX S with 128GB and 256GB storage variants with NEX A last month. The 128GB base variant of the NEX S comes for a price of 4,498 yuan (approx. Rs 47,400) and the expensive 256GB variant of the NEX S comes in at 4,998 yuan (approx. Rs 52,600).

Vivo Nex S features a 6.59-inch Ultra FullView “Zero Screen” display with a resolution of 2,316 x 1,080 pixels and a screen-to-body-ratio of 91.24 percent. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with an Adreno 630 and 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB internal storage. The Vivo Nex S also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display.

On the imaging front, there’s a Sony IMX363 12-megapixel sensor with an of f/1.8, 4-axis optical image stabilization and 1.4μm pixel size which is coupled with a secondary 5-megapixel lens of f/2.4 aperture. The pop-up front camera is of 8-megapixel resolution, and supports scene detection.

It runs on the latest 8.1 Oreo with the company’s Funtouch OS 4.0 on top and a 4,000mAh battery which supports 22.5-watt quick charging. The device comes with Dual VoLTE support with WiFi (2.4/5GHz) MIMO, v5.0 LE, GPS, and a USB port for data and charging.
