Vivo has today launched its latest flagship device, the Vivo NEX, in India today. The smartphone is priced at Rs 44,990 and it will be available exclusively on Amazon as well as Vivo Shop online with shipping starting from 21 July. The Vivo Nex comes in Black colour variant.
The pre-order of the Vivo NEX smartphone will begin from July 19, 1 PM onwards. The company has revealed some offers on pre-orders. To start with, users will get extra Rs 5,000 off on exchange along with no cost EMI up to 12 months. There will be a data offer for Reliance Jio users as well, though details are scarce at the moment. Apart from this, users will get one-time free screen replacement on the purchase of Vivo NEX. Additionally, there will be cashback offer on HDFC credit and debit card along with assured buyback on the latest smartphone.
The highlight of the Vivo Nex phone is its pop-up selfie camera that slides up and down whenever required. The phone features a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED Ultra FullView “Zero Screen” display with a resolution of 2,316 x 1,080 pixels and a screen-to-body-ratio of 91.24 percent. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Chipset with an Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The Vivo Nex S also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display.
On the imaging front, there’s a Sony IMX363 12-megapixel sensor with an Aperture of f/1.8, 4-axis optical image stabilization and 1.4μm pixel size which is coupled with a secondary 5-megapixel lens of f/2.4 aperture. The pop-up front camera is of 8-megapixel resolution, and supports AI scene detection.
It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with the company’s Funtouch OS 4.0 on top and a 4,000mAh battery which supports 22.5-watt quick charging. The device comes with Dual 4G VoLTE support with WiFi (2.4/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth v5.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and a USB Type-C port for data and charging. It measures 162 x 77 x 7.98mm and weighs 197 grams.
