Vivo sub-brand iQOO has launched its latest top-end smartphones – iQOO Pro and iQOO Pro 5G in China. The iQOO Pro 5G comes with 5G support in one slot and the iQOO Pro comes with 4G LTE support in both slots. The 4G version of iQoo Pro will go on sale starting August 29, and the Vivo iQoo Pro 5G will be available starting September 2. Both smartphones come in Black and Blue colour variants.
The iQOO Pro is priced at 3198 yuan (Rs 32,459 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 3498 yuan (Rs 35,500 approx.) for the 12GB RAM with 128GB storage version.
The iQOO Pro 5G is priced at 3798 yuan (Rs 38,555 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 3998 yuan (Rs 40,590 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage while the 12GB RAM with 128GB storage is priced at 4098 yuan (Rs 41,600 approx.).
Apart from the connectivity differences, all the specifications of the iQOO Pro 5G are same as iQOO Pro. Vivo iQoo Pro features a 6.41-inch (1080 × 2340 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio display. It powered by octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Processor with Adreno 640 GPU, paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
The phone is equipped with a triple camera setup with a combination of AI-powered 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel Wide-Angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, there is a 12-megapixel (Dual-Pixel) selfie camera on the front. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
The phone runs on FuntouchOS 9, based on Android 9 Pie and has a 4,500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charge. Connectivity features include 4G / 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C 2.0, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. Vivo iQoo Pro measures 158.77×75.73×9.325mm. The 4G variant weighs 215 grams and the 5G variant weighs 217 grams.
