Vivo has reportedly announced that it will roll out FunTouch OS 9.0 for its majority of smartphones pretty soon. The company have revealed that it will launch the Public Beta versions for the majority of the smartphones launched in 2018 by July this year.
The schedule of the public beta updates was first spotted by ITHome. The list reveals that the company will roll out FunTouch OS 9.0 update to Vivo X21, X21UD, X21i, X21s, Z1, Z1i, X23, Nex A, Nex S, Nex Dual-Screen, and Z3i by July 2019. The company has already started the public beta for X21i, Z1i and X23 smartphones.
It further reveals, Vivo Z23 will get Public beta update by the end of July this year. However, the company is yet to announce the availability of FunTouch OS to its older smartphones. Further, there is no information about when the new user interface will be rolled to the Indian market.
With the new update, Vivo users get to taste Android 9.0 Pie. The new user interface from Vivo comes loaded with a host of improvements and optimizations. The UI is loaded with interesting features like split-screen mode, Gaming mode, Smart Motion and more. The company has also added features like Always-On Display, Dark theme, new icons and animations along with some 55 under-the-hood optimisations.
