Vivo today announced the launch of two smartphones in India under its ‘V’ series (the series name is derived from ‘VIGOUR’). The new Vivo V1 and Vivo V1 Max are priced in the range of Rs 15,000 – 20,000.
Vivo V1 features a 5 inch HD display, 64 bit quad core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 128 GB expandable storage slot, and a 2300 mAh battery. It has a` customized Funtouch OS which is based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
The dual SIM Vivo V1 has 4G connectivity and it features Hi-Fi music experience and a metallic body. The handset has a 13 Megapixel rear and a 5 megapixel Wide-Angle front cameras with 6P lenses and F2.0 aperture.
Speaking on the launch, Alex Feng, chief executive officer of Vivo Smart Phone India said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Smartphone series. With ‘V’ Series we bring unbeatable proposition, price and products in the mid-segment category. Our first device in the category, vivo V1 incorporates cutting-edge technologies, exclusive music features and the highest quality camera shots.”
The Vivo V1 will be available in silver and gold colours. The company however has not revealed anything about the Vivo V1 Max.
