Videocon Mobile, which also announced a quad core handset just today, has announced three new phablets – Videocon A53, A51 and A45. Videocon A53 is the largest phone from Videocon so far and comes with 5.3 inch display with qHD resolution.
Videocon A53 comes with 1.2 GHz dual core Processor and 2500 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.0 operating system. It offers 8 megapixel camera at the back and a 1.3 megapixel camera in the front. It comes with a reasonable 768 MB RAM.
Videocon A51, on the other hand, is a 5 inch phone with Android 4.0 operating system, 1 GHz dual core processor and 512 MB RAM. The display boasts resolution of 854×480 (similar to Canvas II A110). The phone comes with 2000 mAH battery and comes with 8 megapixel camera at the back and VGA camera in the front.
Videocon A45 too has a 5 inch screen but is a lower budget handset and as such comes with a 1 GHz single core processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It comes with a much smaller 3.2 megapixel camera at the back and a VGA camera in the front. It has a 1800 mAH battery. Sadly it gets only a 256 MB RAM which is too low for a modern Android phone, however since its Android 2.3 you can still hope that it will work just fine.
Videocon has not announced the prices of these phones but we expect Videocon A53 to be priced in the range of Rs 10,500, while A51 would be in the range of Rs 9,500 and A45 may cost around Rs 7,000.
