The Samsung Galaxy smartphone series is set to welcome a new entrant, the Samsung Galaxy R, a video of which was shown by a blog.
The blog Sammy Hub has come out with the video of the phone which outlines some new features of the handset, though users had some idea about the design of the phone earlier also.
In the video, the phone was shown having a 4.2 inch screen but with the same Resolution as that of Samsung Galaxy SII. Also, its Processor of 1 GHz is slightly less powerful than the 1.2 GHz processor of Samsung Galaxy SII. Besides, Galaxy R is likely to feature a 5 Megapixel camera compared to the 8 megapixel camera of SII.
However, most users may not be able to notice any difference during normal use of the phone.
According to some other reports, the phone is slightly thicker compared to Samsung Galaxy SII, and it will have social hub, reader hub, games hub and music hub which club together similar Internet activities such as social networking sites together and magazine purchases in another chunk. The video doesn’t come with any sound, but the visuals give a good idea of the phone’s performance.
