Chinese smartphone brand, Vernee has unveiled its latest smartphone, which is named as Vernee Apollo Lite. The smartphone is priced at $199.99 (approximately Rs 13,335) and expected to be available for purchase from next month. This smartphone is the lite version of flagship smartphone Vernee Apollo, which was unveiled last month in China for $399.
The Vernee Apollo Lite has a full metallic uni-body and offers a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display. It is powered by the 64-bit 2.0 GHz deca-core (MediaTek’s MT6797) Helio X20 processor, which is clubbed with 4GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, with option to expand the storage up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The Apollo Lite sports good 16-megapixel shooter with dual LED flash on back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM or SIM + microSD card, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, and GPS support.
Last month, Vernee unveiled its flagship smartphone, the Apollo, with huge 6GB RAM. The flagship smartphone has a 5.5 inch display with 2K resolution. It is powered by a Mediatek’s Helio X20 chip MT6797. The Helio X20 is the latest Chipset of Mediatek to have a deca core processor that contains 4 A53 processors of 1.4Ghz, 4 A53 processors of 2.0Ghz and 2 A72 processors of 2.5Ghz. The chipset has Mali-T880 graphics processor. The Vernee Apollo has 128 GB of internal storage and the latest Android Marshmallow operating system. Besides, the smartphone has 21 Megapixel rear camera with SONY IMX230 sensor and an 8 megapixel front camera.
